Hide Features Search from the Start Menu: One of the ease or facilities provided byWindows is a Search feature that can be accessed via the Start Menu. On the one hand,the presence of this feature will be able to assist or allow a user to find the file or folderwe're looking at our computer hard drive. On the other hand, if the computer is often usedby another user, may cause kekurangnyamanan or may even interfere with the privacy /security of our computer because someone is going to be easy to find files or folders that are important or private. Therefore, if you want, you can hide the Search feature from the Start menu. Follow these tips along with the following Computer Tips Tricks.


The steps to conceal from the Start Menu Search facility are as follows.


A. Click Start >> Run >> and type gpedit.msc to Group Policy Editor window appears.

2. Then click the User Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Start Menu andTaskbar >> until it looks like the screenshot below. 3. Then in the right pane, double click on the Remove Search menu from Start Menu to get a window Remove Search menu from Start Menu Properties, such as the screenshotbelow.

4. Then select the Enabled option

5. Then click Apply and / or OK.

6. Completed.


Without having to logoff, you just click on the Start menu and make sure the Search featureis not there (Start Menu).

To return to normal, repeat the steps above then select an option Not Configured on theRemove Search menu from Start Menu Properties.
